ChainUnfold is a visual learning publication about blockchain and payment systems. We start with questions that make sense outside a technical conversation: What changes when I send a payment? What does a signature establish? Why can a channel send money but struggle to receive it?

Our lessons connect plain-language explanations, original diagrams, and small experiments. You can read the main idea without writing code, then follow the technical notes when you want to see how the model works.
We focus first on cryptographic foundations, Bitcoin transactions, and Lightning payments. We explain systems and tradeoffs, with fictional examples and explicit boundaries. We do not provide investment recommendations or ask you to connect a wallet.
Care before certainty
Sources belong beside claims. A diagram should explain something, and a simulation should say what it leaves out. Articles go through a publication review; corrections are part of the work.
